What I Heard & What It Revealed

My conversations with hundreds of women around the world gave color to what the data already showed: the current leadership model isn’t working.

Despite billions invested in leadership development, women continue to leave at higher rates.

I know these patterns not just because I’ve studied them, but because I've lived them.

After graduating from Harvard Law School, I built a career in some of the most high-performance environments out there—first as an attorney on Wall Street, and later as an executive at the NBA, where I helped shape talent and culture strategy.

But even as I advanced, I often found myself navigating a model of leadership that felt misaligned with who I was and how I wanted to lead. Eventually, I made the decision to step away and begin the deeper work of realignment.

The Institute of Exceptional Alignment is my answer to this growing disconnect.
